At the start of a career, in the role of an accounting assistant or junior accountant, salaries usually fall within the range of 3,000-5,000 PLN gross per month. However, this is often just a starting point, from which earnings can grow along with experience and the acquisition of new skills.

An experienced accountant, with several years of practice, can expect remuneration in the range of 5,000-8,000 PLN gross. In these positions, in addition to experience, qualifications and specialisation play a major role.

Job offers for accountants in managerial positions, such as head of the accounting department or financial controller, often come with a salary in the range of 8,000-15,000 PLN gross per month. Here, experience in managing teams and projects is key, along with the ability to think strategically.

Accountants who have obtained international certifications, such as ACCA or CIMA, can count on even higher earnings. People in such positions can expect remuneration exceeding 15,000 PLN gross, and even reaching 25,000 PLN gross and more.

It is worth emphasising that working in finance is not limited to the salary alone. Many companies offer additional benefits, such as annual bonuses, health insurance, a social fund or a sports package, which also affects total remuneration.

The job market for accountants in Poland is diverse and offers broad opportunities for development. The key to achieving success and increasing earnings is continuous education and skills development, in order to keep up with the changing demands of the labour market.
