AP, AR & GL Accountant
Job description
On behalf of our client, a leading corporation based in Warsaw, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. Depending on your background, you may be considered for an AP/AR or GL Accountant role, both positions are open simultaneously.
Main tasks

What you'll be doing (AP/AR):

Processing and verifying vendor and customer invoices in SAP or equivalent ERP
3
Reconciling accounts and managing outstanding balances with suppliers and clients
4
Preparing and processing payments in line with company deadlines
5
Supporting month-end and year-end close activities
6
Communicating with internal teams and external counterparts in English
7
Identifying process improvements within AP/AR workflows
8
What you'll be doing (GL):

Performing month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for assigned entities
10
Preparing and posting journal entries including accruals, prepayments and intercompany transactions
11
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing supporting documentation
12
Analyzing P&L and balance sheet variances with relevant commentary
13
Supporting external audit processes
14
Collaborating with AP, AR, Tax and Treasury teams
